FAQ

Each session is 1.5 hours and is designed to teach essential athletic skills.  Using games, challenges and teamwork, our young athletes build confidence, coordination and conditioning.  The last 30 minutes of each session will focus on the playing of one seasonal sport.

We ask that on the days of the session that your young athlete comes equipped with ALL gear needed for the weather at hand including shorts, tee, hoodie, running shoes, and don't forget a "named" water bottle.  And don't forget hats, or some sunscreen.  We are outdoors!

NOTE:  Best to make sure that all clothing has some "inside" tag named as well.

We realize that on some days, with all of our sessions, athletes will leave behind a hoodie or water bottle.  Again, we ask that all garments have a name on an inside tag and that water bottles are tagged as well.  Should your athlete leave something behind at a session, we always will have a LOST AND FOUND container, on site, so that next session you can take a peek.

At present, our camps are designed for the 8-12 year old athlete.  ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOMED.  At PLAYNOW KIDS, we believe these young athletes are just getting started on the road to conditioning, nutrition, and movement.  Hence, all are welcome.  We also believe that more experienced kids can help mentor those who are first timers.

Bring a beach chair, a good book, enjoy the sun, make new friends and watch your young athlete challenge themselves out on the field!

We do not separate out a "boys" and "girls" clinic.  We want all athletes to play together.  Our hope is that by the end of our camp, kids will have built new friendships, increased their athletic awareness and will have been introduced to a new sport.
